Privacy policy

ExamPlus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("ExamPlus", "we") runs examplus.in and the academy portals at addresses like youracademy.examplus.in. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to have it deleted.
Who this covers
This policy covers people who use examplus.in: anyone who creates an ExamPlus account, buys an academy, or asks us to call them.
Inside an academy's portal, the academy decides what it records about its students and staff. We store and process that information for the academy and only on its instructions. Questions about it are best sent to the academy first.
What we collect
- Your ExamPlus account. Your name and email address.
- If you continue with Google. Your name, email address and Google account id. We never see your Google password, and we do not read your contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.
- Sign in codes. When you sign in by email we send a six digit code. We keep only a scrambled copy of it, for ten minutes.
- Buying an academy.The academy's name and address, the owner's name, a phone number, city and state, and anything optional you add such as a PIN code, GSTIN, website or WhatsApp number. The owner console password is stored only as a secure hash.
- Payments. Razorpay handles payment. We never see your card, UPI or bank details. We keep the order and payment reference, the amount and the plan.
- Call back requests. Your name, phone number, city and, if you give it, your email address.
- Academy data. Students, classes, questions, papers, marks, homework, notices and scanned answer sheets that an academy adds.
- Abuse protection. To stop people guessing codes and passwords, we count sign in attempts against an email address or network address for a short time.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To set up and run the academy you bought, and to bill for it.
- To send the emails the service needs, such as sign in codes.
- To call you back when you ask us to.
- To keep the service secure and stop misuse.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information from Google
We use the name, email address and account id Google shares only to create your ExamPlus account and sign you in. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it except with the service providers below that run ExamPlus. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics on this site.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run parts of the service for us:
- Vercel hosts the website and portals.
- Supabase hosts the database.
- Resend sends our emails.
- ImprovMX forwards email sent to @examplus.in addresses.
- Razorpay processes payments.
- Google, only if you choose to continue with Google.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
How we protect it
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Each academy's records are kept apart in the database, so one academy cannot read another's.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it exists. If an academy stops paying, its records are kept so it can pick up where it left off, until the owner asks us to delete them. Sign in codes expire after ten minutes.
Children
Students do not sign up with ExamPlus. Their academy adds them and gives them a code. The academy is responsible for having permission from parents or guardians to do so. We never advertise to students.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent you have given. Email examplusconnect@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. The same address handles complaints.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email.
