These terms cover examplus.in and the academy portals at addresses like youracademy.examplus.in. Buying an academy, or using the site, means agreeing to them.
ExamPlus is a sole proprietorship run from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, not a company.
Who can buy
An institute buys ExamPlus through someone allowed to sign for it, who is over 18. That person becomes the owner of the academy and can add staff to it.
Students never buy anything and never pay us. Their institute adds them and gives them a code.
What you get
- A portal on your own address, under your name, your logo and your colours.
- The question bank, papers, OMR sheets, phone scanning and reports, all of it.
- Accounts for your staff, and a code for every student on your roll.
Nothing is held back for a bigger plan. There is one plan, and a twenty student centre gets what a chain gets.
What it costs
₹40 per student per month, and never less than ₹2,000 a month. So 50 students cost ₹2,000 a month and 300 students cost ₹12,000.
Pay by the month, or pay for a year and be charged for 10 months rather than twelve. A year at 50 students is ₹20,000.
Prices are in Indian rupees. The amount shown at checkout is the whole amount you pay. There is no setup fee and no licence fee.
How the student count is billed
You pay for the students you enrolled this term. That is everyone on the roll now, plus anyone enrolled during this term who has since been marked inactive. A child you remove today lowers next term's bill, not this one.
Renewal, and an unpaid one
Nothing is auto-debited. We hold no mandate and no card of yours, so a term ends by simply not being paid for again. Razorpay takes each payment on its own, when you choose to make it.
If a renewal date passes unpaid, the portal keeps serving for 7 days. After that it pauses: nobody can sign in, and nothing is deleted. Paying opens it again with everything where it was.
Your side of it
- The students, marks and papers you put in are yours. You are responsible for having permission from parents or guardians to hold a child's details.
- Keep staff passwords to the staff they belong to.
- Use it for your own institute. Do not resell it, and do not pass the question bank to anyone outside your institute.
- Do not upload anything you have no right to upload.
Our side of it
- We run the platform and keep every academy's records apart from every other.
- We process your institute's data for your institute, on its instructions. We do not sell it and we do not advertise against it.
- We will export what is yours, or delete it, when the owner asks. See the privacy policy.
We do not promise a particular uptime figure. We fix what breaks as quickly as we can.
What we can do
- Pause an academy for an unpaid renewal, as above.
- Pause one that is being misused, for instance by passing the question bank outside the institute. We tell the owner why.
- Change the price. A change reaches you at your next renewal, never inside a term you have paid for, and we tell the owner by email at least 30 days before.
- Change these terms. The date above moves, and anything significant comes by email.
Ending it
Stop whenever you like by not renewing. The portal serves out the term you paid for. Ask and we will delete the academy's records; otherwise they are kept so you can pick up where you left off. Money already paid is covered by the refund policy.
If something goes wrong
Nothing here decides a child's future on its own. Marks read from a scanned sheet should be checked by a teacher, and the sheet stays on file so they can be. We are not liable for a decision an institute makes from them.
Where the law allows a limit, ours is what you paid us in the three months before the problem.
Law
Indian law applies, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. If something is wrong, write to us first. It is almost always faster.
